The Importance of Strength Training
Weight lifting has been considered the fountain of youth.  Everyone, regardless of age or gender, should incorporate resistance training into their daily regimen.  Effective resistance training has the potential to stimulate the metabolism for 24-36 hours.  Cardiovascular training alone stimulates the metabolism for approximately 2-5 hours.    Weight training will decrease risk of osteoporosis, decrease risk of heart disease and diabetes, and improve strength and athletic performance.  As a personal trainer, I feel it is highly beneficial to incorporate traditional weight lifting into your exercise program.  Form and technique are crucial to prevent injury and ensure effectiveness, so be sure to seek the instruction of a professional when beginning a strength training program.

Personal Training at "State of Fitness"

Individual session: $65/ session
*Package rates available*

Group Training (4 people): $80 per hour
Nutritional Consult: $50/ hour

 
Training at State of Fitness

You do not have to be a member to train at the facility.  All are welcome to train at the club. With your session you may opt to use the cardio and the locker room facilities  

Group Training
If budget has you questioning your ability to use a personal trainer, consider a group option.  If you train in a group of 2-4 you can defray cost and still benefit from a trainers expertise!!
